How to do Nadi Shodhana Pranayama:
- First of all, sit in any Sukhasan and straighten the waist and close your eyes.
- Close the right nostril with the thumb of the right hand and exhale completely.
- Now inhale through the left nostril, close the left nostril with the third finger and do internal Kumbhak.
- Stop as long as you can in a natural situation.
- Then by removing the right thumb, exhale slowly (exhalation). Do external Kumbhak for 1-2 moments.
- Then hold your breath by lifting the neck from the right nostril, then exhale slowly from the left.
Do this 5 to 7 times. In the beginning, keep the ratio of 1:1:1 and 1:2:2. Gradually increase the practice of internal Kumbhak. Then do it in the ratio of 1:4:2.
